W.U. Pig farming Pig farming, carried out by the high quality expert team and skilled labour force, is based upon outstanding genetic potential of herds, which is the result of a long-term selective work. This production, in terms of quantity and quality, is the leading one in our country. It is carried out along production lines of breeding material and fattens. It is organized on seven farms out of which two are nucleus and five commercial ones. We have 5,500 breeding sows and sucklings of high genetic potential at our disposal. The annual production of fattening pigs is about 90,000 heads of the average weight of 95 kg, with the meat percentage of over 57% of meat randman.
